AT some point, I tink one of them will have to go for financial reasons. Foster will be wanting more money soon and D-dub was a #1, so there is obviously a decision to be made there. Unfortnately, I think it is Foser that will be packing and looking to head west.
I'd love to have a three back package with Williams, Adrian Peterson (Bears)or Ladell Betts and a big bruiser like a Brian Leonard-type and maybe even a return specialist that is a little smaller (Warrick Dunn-type size).

I'm happy with them performance-wise, yes. I think the run blocking has been atrocious, and the play-calling hasn't been much better. We pretty obviously need a better blocking fullback and tight end, even if it's only to situationally substitute for our current starters there. Foster runs with as much power as Stephen Davis did for us in '03, if not more. Davis had better vision, but we were also a much better blocking line then (thanks in part to 'roids).

I'd like to see DW get more than he has been getting. I think a 50/50 split would make more sense.

it's funny that you felt like Redman is that capable in a thread where we were essentially debating the future of Jake Delhomme.

    It still is.

He sat without a team during the regular season since the start of 2004. I don't feel bad about laughing about that.

It's not the fact that you disagreed which made it egregious. It's the fact that you repeatedly insulted me over it, even though I have an extraordinary record when it comes to evaluating quarterbacks while yours is abysmal. That was a case where we could have disagreed amiably, but you chose to make fun of me for it and ended up having egg on your face yet again.

I think we bandied about Redman, specifically, a few times at most, and I don't feel bad at all. He shouldn't be in the league IMO. Notably, he also threw the game away, and the guy who rescued him from Arena league barely played him despite a remarkable amount of QB strife.

Again, you have a horrible record when it comes to projecting QBs while mine is nearly flawless. And while Redman did throw an interception while pressing in the final two minutes, his strong second half play is the only reason Atlanta even got back into that game. Now I'm obviously not saying that he's going to be a star or anything, but he has talent and is someone a team can legitimately develop. Today showed that, at minimum, you were wrong for repeatedly mocking me about him. (and no, I'm not asking you to admit that you were wrong about anything. I don't feel any need for another 34 page thread.)

I don't remember saying he couldn't look competent in relief, but certainly, any franchise concerned about hanging any hopes on him long since stopped caring.

So, no, I don't feel bad about mocking you, whether you carried it around for this long or not. If you suggested it now, I'd still mock you. I don't outright mock you often, so just know it's special.

Heh, well at least it's good to know that reality doesn't affect your judgment in any way. :laugh3:

I've learned to not rely on what anyone here says about nfl prospects.
