My son has eczema pretty bad. I have every single baby wash, shampoo, lotion, oil, cream, and goo imaginable. Nothing seems to help. Does anyone know of something that REALLY works, from personal experience? I have to get him an appointment with a dermatologist, but until then, the poor little guy is just miserable!

Yeah, both of mine had it when they were babies. They will give you a cream (Elidel probably) and you do it a couple times a day and it will go away. The OTC stuff only works once its cleared up.

I've got them down to half a pack a day now. I told them they have to stop by 1st grade.

Yeah, as mine got older I was told to cut it down to a bath every other day because their skin just wasn't giving up.

Yeah, that is about every other day. I still do that with my girls because they will break out with it every now and then still.

haha, duh, i guess you're right. poor baby has cradle cap horribly too, and he's on a hypoallergenic formula now, Rx shampoo, and we have an Rx cream now. Just doesn't seem to work.
