Otherwise, you're a fucking mess. The whole "I pay my hard-earned money, so I can do whatever the fuck I want" thing is neat, but when we're talking about football decisions, did you really think that, at any point, Matt Moore would give us a better chance to win an NFL game than David Carr?

Everybody's hero Steve Smith was visibly upset by it, asking the fans (several times) to stop.

That's being a man, to me--backing up your QB, win or lose. Just wish Carr had the decency to man up, as well.

 

The chant from Panther fans shouldn't surprise anyone. This is the same bunch that CHEERED when Kerry Collins got injured at home, so Beurlein would come in. B-line was steamed at that one (it was a Monday night game that I came down from Raleigh to cover).

Mags--I won't be surprised either way on Fox (if he stays or is let go). I could see the Panthers keeping him, considering the QB mess this season, lumped in with a new offensive coordinator (new scheme etc.), but I could see him gone for the same reasons.

it really comes down to picking your poison! You wanna lose with Carr or Moore? Either way its a loss. At least with Moore the entity is unknown and young with a slight chance of IMPROVEMENT, whereas we know Carr is the worst QB in league and getting worse.

you quoting Moore's INT stats is silly. He has came in 2 games down a total of about 45 points to throw into prevent defenses. I'd like to see Moore with a tie score and a few quarters to manage instead of just slinging into prevent defenses with 3 minutes left in regulation.

as for the PSL thing, yep it does give me the right to chant "Moore" after freezing my ass off watching Carr's nauseous game.

 

I'm with Rucker all the way. If people want this to get worse, keep stuff like that up.

 

making the analogy of Collins getting hurt to Carr is a real stretch.
