Torii Hunter has signed with the angels for 5 years / 90 million. All teams formerly going after Hunter have now turned their attention to Aaron Rowand.

Angels get the plumb of the Free Agent Market. One of the games 10 best players IMO.

certainly. I wonder what this does to their outfield and if they will be looking to deal anyone after this?

As I have mentioned many times, I thought Hunter was to be a Yankee. In truth, I'm glad he's not but you know he would have made their outfield issues go away.

Oh wow, I think the guy does it all and has for years. He is a great defensive center feilder, he hits, hits for average, and is a good guy in the clubhouse from what has been reported. Let me pick my own team and he's my man in center, easy.

    lifetime BA is .271
    lifetime OBP is .324

i only mention this because you pointed out he hits and hits for average. i know he is great defensively and is a solid guy away from the field. he is one of the best CFs in the game, but not one of the top ten in the game. at least not IMO.

Maybe not even top 50. He'd be somewhere around that threshold, but not even close to top 10. Hunter is a very good, but not great player. Wise One unfortunately just doesn't have any clue whatsoever about baseball, despite posting about it frequently.
