    Interesting idea. I don't know that he could, but will Miles even want to leave?

    You're mistaken. Miami was in ashes when he arrived, and he's singularly responsible for the revival of that program.

    If Butch Davis leaves UNC, it will be for the Arkansas job. He's an Arkansas guy and thats where he would feel most comfortable. Not to mention, he's a hero down there and here he's not. On the flip side, signing him to an extension right now would be an awful awful move by Carolina. Butch Davis has proven NOTHING yet. He will in time, but giving him an extension for winning 3 games just screams, we worship you no matter if we don't even go to a bowl......weakness. He has the administration eating out of his hand.

    Ain't Miles a Michigan alumni, player and coach ?? Met his wife there also and she too is alumni. He does have a 1.25 million buyout if he leaves LSU for Michigan, might slow him down a bit but not Michigan alumni.

    have you not figured out a contract means nothing these days?

    michigan, texas A&m, nebraska, arkansas are all going to be looking for new coaches..be prepared....
