Ladder 49 is the best example of what you think is a quality movie? You think people would rather watch Cavemen than watch Lawrence of Arabia or Patton? Give me a fucking break. Why should you watch it on tv rather than netflix? Maybe not to pay for the same thing twice?

Cancel ALL reality / game shows.

It was a premiere of a Hollywood movie starring A list actors . I gave you real numbers. You give me a exaggerated example. People arent watching Cavemen when it is not paired beside one of the greatest movie classics of all time. Furthermore, the target demographic...the money spenders, care more about Dancing with the Stars than Lawrence of Arabia. if people care that much about LoA then they have it on DVD already (as I do). They can watch it anytime.

pay for the same thing twice? I was unaware that the DVDs from Netflix have bugs on them and commercials every 9 minutes. my bad. DVDs also offer better sound and better picture quality than braodcast.

take another example...Moulin Rouge, an academy award winning film...it garnered a .2 rating on April 24 of this year. I am not even going to list off all the shows that beat it...just know that it was beat by an 8 year old episode of South Park (SP actually tripled the .2).

 

Maybe it was an old one I was seeing, the 1st season? How many have there been? The only one I watched regularly was the one where you liked the woman from Florida.
