For me, it all boils down to one question...what other NFL coach could win with the QB's we have right now? Some people want Fox to open up the offense, but how would that work with Vinny back there? He may make a few more plays, but more than likely, he won't last long doing it because he will get the shit beat out of him. It would be even worse with Carr, as we've already found out. The only choice Fox has left, is to start Moore, and he's bound to make mistakes that Vinny wouldn't make even if he makes some big plays in between. Anything Fox does right now, is a gamble, and I think it's a damn shame that the fans are turning on the guy for not being able to turn chicken shit into chicken salad. I guess that's life in the NFL though.

Face it people, Fox is screwed right now unless his defense and ST's can start scoring consistently like the Bears were doing last year.

Bingo. I'm stoked we're 4-5 with what we have. The worst thing that can happen to a team is losing QB's like this.

Another coach might be able to run the ball and stop the run or achieve whatever goal they have defined for the team like Fox. Its not about coaching out of this hole, it's about building a team that can play when someone goed down.

I don't know if I want a change but the above is how I look at the issue.

Yeah - I hear ya. But name a team - EVER - that has excelled on the #3 QB. EVER.

I mean, I get it that they're expected to win. BUt whe're the reference for 'kicking ass all year on the #3 QB?' Who's done better?

That's a serious question, too. Has anybody done better?

I would fault the current staff for picking up Carr. That said - nobody - NOBODY - had anything but priase and love for the move last year. And who else could they have gotten for backup? Who was available that's any better? It's hard to sign a QB to be a backup when there are starting jobs around.

If we agree they should build a better team, we agree that Carr was a bad signing, let's go back to Spring 2007 and figure out who they could've grabbed. I come up empty. Shit - even Vinny wasn't available.

    Garcia wanted to start.
We interviewed Harrington. He's only better against us.

    the Eagles with Feely

If we could run and play defense we could win with Carr or Vinny

Yeah and Feely sucked, too. Played well in that system and the team responded.

and there you have it....Fox and company cant adjust the belt around their pants much less adjust a football team. All about making adjustments and surrounding the team with players who can play. We have players who absolutely suck ass.

So, what are these adjustments that will make us an instant winner with any QB?

Its like an executive not meeting their plan numbers when he defines the team as a running team and fails repeatedly.

Freely was actually on the roster when their season started. Vinny has barely been here for a month...huge difference. And BTW, running the ball and playing defense was the game plan that everybody is complaining about in the first place.
