Fox is still at .54, which is winning. I don't like this 3 game losing streak, that looks to make it at least a month deep,

"I fucking hope so, he's the only other good end we have. Age is slowly catching up to him, but he still makes plays occasionally, and plays smart the whole game.[/QUOTE]

Johnson's been disappointing in that he just isn't explosive. That said, Al Wallace was done and that wasn't a bad decision. I thought a lot of the decision to draft Johnson, but so far it's not worked out.

He's still a good player, and while we should have some depth spelling him (and don't), and he should be off the field for a fair amount of passing plays, he's still a good player.

Remember how fiery fox is compared to Siefert?

At any rate, I'm not seeing the firing thing.

I'd keep tabs on Nick Caserio, he's an up and comer.

You've got to remember that JR wants to win badly. Its not like he is being frugal in the FA market. If we continue to play as badly as we are, then I don't see a situation where JR doesn't fire Fox/Hurney.

Interesting, for sure. You don't often find personnel guys go into coaching suddenly. The thing is, though, while he's assumably a good gameday coach, I can't put the success of Moss/Welker/that offense on him.

Disagree. Fox has a history of winning here. Superbowl, playoff wins. By far the best this franchise has ever seen.

    Fox brought Delhomme.

We're also 1 game back on our 4th QB, signed mid-fucking-season. This is an EXTREME situation. In a league that's becoming more and more dominated by quarterback play, having a 43 year old from the scrap heap is NOT grounds for firing, and it IS grounds for losing alot of games.

The one thing I can bitch about is the success in the draft and in FA. I think this is even more glaring this year, with the failure of Carr. HOWEVER - it's been WAY better than both previous regimes. The 2001 draft is the only exception.

I think Seifert and Capers fucked up on ways fox/hurney have not.
Siefert bagged bline, a fan favorite and leader of the offense, for Jeff Fucking Lewis, and then lost 15 straight. You're fired, dude.

Capers traded the bank for Gilbert, made bad draft and FA decisions, and then allowed Kevin Greene to snap.

I don't see Fox/Hurney making huge mistakes comparable to those.

I do think the home win thing is very bad for them. And it should be.

At some point this is a business and Mr. Richardson has to produce a product he can sell. Mangus sees a three game loosing streak and I respect his opinion a lot. But I think a lot of people see a two year malaise resulting from some pretty poor decisions. Consider this from The Observer.

I'm just hearing an increasing drum beat that I don't think Mr. Richardson can afford to ignore.
