Won't happen. Both will be back, as will the coordinators and most of the players (due to contract structuring). The big changes won't come until after the '08 season.

    No thanks.

I vote for a better backup qb.

I vote for someone on the Panther's staff stealing the opponent's signals.

stronger on the lines, better QB play, something worthwhile opposite Harris.

I will whole-heartedly agree with the first two points. Last point, not sure. Redskins have the best safety tandem in the league with Landry and Taylor, and got used by McRibb throwing to LJ Smith and Westbrook. Seems if the money spent on the defensive line were paying dividends, the safeties would look a hell of a lot better.

    Peppers, wtf??!

First off - who ever is evaluating talent and making the calls on roster building is the person who needs to go, I put that on Hurney. talent wise we need to unbury ourselves from past mistakes. Kemo gone! Colbert/Carter gone! Morgan Gone! Seward Gone! and Frankly I'm scared to death to think about what we're going to do with Wharton and Gross.

We need to stop being player friendly, Rucker shouldn't be on this roster and Minter shouldn't have been allowed to come to training camp. see also (previous off season scrw-ups) Adam Meadows, Freddie Jones, etc... and figure out what you have left in Kasay

Next we have to decide just what exactly we want to be on Offense and build accordingly, I just don't think you can be a Run the ball - stop the run team with this current line.

Draft for need and stop taking players who are "Good Value"

Get a good fucking safety and sign him long term.

Get a veteran WR in here

The ST coach does have to go.

I don't know. Even given a lackluster offensive line, our rb's aren't exactly stellar. I like the idea of Williams getting the ball in space, but if he can't catch a ball then that's pretty tough to do.
While I agree we're missing Jake, I mean no disrespect by pointing out that he's Jake Delhomme. I like him, but nobody's mistaking him for Brett Farve.

I think you have to consider the business aspect of this. I think that John Fox is the best coach the team has ever had but even when he wins, he wins boring. You can get away with that as long as you win, but we're not. We haven't won at home in a year and the fans are letting their dissatisfaction be known. I think Scott Fowler's column of Tuesday November 6th said it pretty well.
I just wonder what's going to change next year if Fox and Hurney return next year. Are we going to retool the offensive line...Again? Are we going to get younger and stronger at safety for real? Are we going to get that number 2 receiver we've been looking for since we let Mushin Muhamed go? Are we going to try to get another year out of Rucker?
John Fox is a fine football coach and I wish him the best, but I can't help but think that the water's circling the drain for him here.
