Kansas may go down. Oklahoma State is running on them pretty good.

Groh has recruited decently, it is about time he had a run. Although they haven't really played anyone. And no, Miami isn't anyon anymore. Best team they beat was UConn at home, and they barely survived that game.

I almost forgot...Notre Dame is really good at being bad.:hanged:

Charlie Weis is a perfect example of a good coordinator/bad coach. A head coach has to have some sense of a personality, even Beliceck has some...albeit a bad personality. Weis is kind of a nerd and is very arrogant, the type of personality that isn't a motivator. I noticed when the Irish were going into the locker room at the half, Weis didn't touch the sign as he reached the bottom of the stairs...that's bad karma at ND.

OSU is wearing them down. KU's db's were keeping everythig in front, then OSU gets them over the top and now the Jayhawks are thinking pass on run plays and visa versa...dare I say KU is getting outcoached at this point.

I love seeing teams like Illinois and Kansas surging though, it's good for college football when programs like these are able to have success. Now if they can sustain it.

You're a perfect example of a conclusion jumper. Let's wait more than a year to say if Weis is a good head coach or not. While this year has been worse than anyone imagined, I expected them to have a losing season because of the guys they lost, the lack of replacements, and the schedule. Some of Weis' coaching decisions have been absurd, but I think the underplayed angle in this story is that the poor recruiting Willingham eventually got fired for is why Notre Dame was so thin and couldn't survive the loss of some key players.
That's not true according to people who have been in and around the program. In fact, Weis was just recently praised in the national media for how well he connects with players and how that makes him an exceptional recruiter. The only things I've heard about him from players has painted a similar picture as well. I think you're just talking out of your ass again.
