    It's somewhat interesting that the guys getting caught were those who were nearing the end of their careers or just trying to reach the big leagues, in other words, the most desperate.

    agree...it's obvious it's a "last resort" for those guys. Bonds started juicing up when he realised he was in reach of the home run record a few years back.
