Tim Tam Writers Stike

not really. bot in the short term. I am a producer so I dont strike at all. I have a few friends and coworkers who are on strike. I am also working with a few showrunners who are union and caught up in the mess. Their job is tough because of the gray areas of their jobs, ie. what constitutes writting and what constitutes editing. The hang ups are DVD and new media. For my day job I work in mobile tv, which is one of the many New Media. I expect a few minor changes but not a lot.

 

I work on a few different rojects that are union but most of my real problems will come from programming issues as shows begin to dry up.

 

Damn, I was picturing you with a sign chanting, "Hell No, We won't go!" or something. Getting tasered and dogs chasing you down. LOL

So you are like the bad guy they are protesting against?

 

I wish. no. It's my coworkers protesting my boss. This whole mess is sending out shockwaves. The DGA's contract ends in the coming months (maybe June) and if they strike it may effect me a bit more.
