    QB David Carr is back on the injury report, with a concussion. To go with Vinny Testaverde's Achilles tendinitis, the Panthers might not have a decent answer this week against Atlanta.
    When asked which one he'd prefer if both were healthy, Panthers coach John Fox replied: "That's speculation. ... We'll play whoever's ready."
    This one's already strange, and it just gets stranger by the day.
    Fox also mentioned that C Justin Hartwig has a broken right thumb (which might come into play for a snap), WR Steve Smith has a hip contusion, and DE Julius Peppers injured his middle toe, without specifying which foot.
    The hits just keep coming.

    That goes back to my question in an earlier thread--Who is #2 and who is #3?? We ain't got nobody left!! And the qbs left on the "scrap heap" ain't too good.

    Per Dan Morgan, Carr should be good for 5 more years easy. It's just a concussion.
