Now, you're just being rediculous. Face it dude, Carr is not an NFL QB and never will be. He's actually starting to make me wish we had kept Chris Weinke. I wouldn't have thought that possible before the season started. I never really liked the Carr signing that much to begin with, but I expected him to at least be a decent back up...he's not even that.

Jake wouldn't have looked much better....fucking Joe Montana wouldn't have looked much better with the way the O-line got man-handled and how we totally failed to adjust for the blitzing.
Carr looks gun-shy. He watches the rush and doesn't see the field.

I think Carr is done. I hoped he would do something...but the way he almost forced the ball to Smith tells me he doesn't have confidence in his own decision-making anymore. Don't get me wrong...getting Smitty the ball is the right thing to do...but not if all 11 defenders are covering him.

He had QB ratings of 83.5, 77.2, and 82.1 the last three years in Houston. That's not great, but it's certainly average for a starting quarterback in the NFL despite being on a pretty bad team. So to pretend like he "is not an NFL QB and never will be" just demonstrates your own bias and ignorance.
It's honestly amazing that you don't even have enough intelligence to realize how stupid a statement like that is. Weinke was a cement-shoed, scattershot, turnover machine. I understand frustration over Carr's irritating obsession with dumping the ball off, but it's absurd that no one seems to realize that not making mistakes is doing something positive. You can be like magnus and argue that it's not enough, but it's still a hell of a lot better than a guy who hurts your team. Carr hasn't hurt the Panthers, he's just not helping them either.
According to you, he's worse than Stalin and Pol Pot combined.

You can't call somebody on the bias card when you lay it down yourself.

I don't know if Jake would have looked better or worse today, but I know that he has looked a lot worse. Carr didn't throw two touchdowns for the other team. I think we're a better team with Delhomme behind center, but it's certainly perplexing that Jake largely got a pass while Carr gets hammered for everything. I guess a lot of fans really do care more about how a guy looks than how he does.

No, they don't. Either that or they're too stupid to know what winning is about. Carr isn't the reason we had endless third and longs, nor is he the reason we didn't win. He does dump the ball off way too much, but that's not a big problem if you aren't digging huge holes with penalties. Plus anytime a QB avoids dumb turnovers, that's at least a good start. I'm not even hinting that he's been good. He hasn't. But while he hasn't been making very positive plays, he hasn't been making very negative ones either.

Those two games sucked. He also did a lot more good than bad, and had a handful (OMGLOLZ) of bad games in four years rather than just stringing them together from the very beginning.

It's hard to find any positive in a 100 yard game where we got our asses handed to us, but I'll give it to you, for some reason you're trying for his one particular guy.

Most game managers do complete more than 55% if they're doing nothing but dump off. Most game managers have more than 6 passing first downs. It's not that everyone reading this board but you hates Carr, we just want more than he's giving. At some point, you can't be the third receiver or the backup RB and just try not to do something stupid. At QB, you have to try to make something positive happen.

Collin ----- this guy had this issue in Texas

    After the Texan game

    Texan Blog wrote:
Carr was probably sitting there thinking, "Wow.. you can QB for the Texans and not get sacked?" He did look purty with his little flip up hairdo and white gloves! That is probably one of the biggest reasons I loved the win... now Carr can shut his mouth with the little barbs against the Texans... hmm maybe they are doing so well because you SUCKED and were NOT a leader???

Titans had 7 sacks today .. So is it Carolina or Carr ????
