I picked one up this morning on a Wal-mart "secret sale", but just found out that Best Buy's business site has some left in stock, online, for the same price. They will not last long. These things were about $250 just over a week ago, then Wal-mart dropped them to $198.00 last week. Today, they cut the price in half, but just for the day (early Black Friday sale).

This is a really nice player that also upconverts regular DVDs better than most other players out there. It's the one Adrien Brody does the commercials for:

Preciate the hookup. Ordered one. Wasn't willing to wait in lines (or for that matter, go to a Wal-Mart at all), and it was sold out online everywhere. $99 is sweet, hopefully I can still do the 5 free HD movies deal too.

no worries, those are really just your "demo" material.
Netflix is my friend. I actually watch a LOT of stuff via streaming it from NetFlix these days, maybe HD DVD will bring me back to the big screen :).

Looks like some people have had some luck price matching to Sears if Wally World is OOS.

Direct link to the 5 Freebies offer

Which ones would you guys get? Here's where I'm leaning so far:

    Category:

A - Cant decide between Babel & Italian Job
B - The Thing (this is a classic flick)
C - Wife might make me get C&TCF over FMJ
    D - U2 Rattle & Hum (ehh why not)
    E - Troy (by default)
