    Think of it this way, a lap you end up back where you started. Just like car races. 2 lengths of the pool is a lap. I am sure of it.

    So you would have do do 4 lengths of the pool to go 50 meters. Short damn pool. Most competitive pools are 50 meters long.

    You are incredibly wrong, dumbass. I'll bet anything 1 length = 1 lap regardless of distance in swimming.

    100 meter Freestyle is two lengths, 1 lap,of the pool. Now fuck off. I doubt you could even make a length of the pool.
