in a fun irony he's been better since I started railing on him, but he still shouldn't have made that retarded move to get hurt.

Let's hope he picks it up and starts making plays. He's accurate, but just doesn't take the chances.

No, he was already playing pretty well against New Orleans when you were crapping on him. You didn't back off your comments until well after the game was over.

he scored 10 points, gamewinning, after I started bitching. Before that, 0-fer, and he got himself injured doing something stupid.

    That's because he sucks.

He sucks so bad, he sucks worse than Vinny Testaverde.

No, he was already completing passes and throwing balls accurately while you were bitching. And he didn't get himself injured doing anything. He got injured because the protection broke down.

0-fer, in that he hadn't scored points. He had scored points directly after I started bitching, and when he did, I stopped bitching. You certainly didn't, but I didn't say anything about that INT he threw up, because he started to be productive. When he was hurt, he had completed 4 passes, one a solid 27 yarder to the TE that King made into something, the rest dumpoffs.

He got injured by running around awkwardly and then turning his back to a defender while he was getting hit. A starting level player doesn't do that, but maybe I expected too much for him to be a starting level player. Can you refute that? He didn't get

If he were in the pocket, that'd be different, but he ran, which is still something I'd rather him not do, and he does spastic things when he runs. I don't know whether your need to 'win' will change whether you can agree to that or not, but he was(edit) not (/edit)in the pocket, turned his back to try to avoid the hit, and hurt his back which caused us two starts.

No, you were still bitching about him once the game was over. Remember saying that you stood by your "awful," "crap," and "ineffective" comments?
The only dump off he had in that stretch was to Colbert.
He did turn his back and that was a mistake, but he wasn't running around, he was attempting to avoid pressure since the protection had broken down.
He was still in the pocket.
    Ok, now I'm confused.

You could let it go, of course, but I don't know if I expect that, since it was only three weeks.

Still do. When I said them. And I said them, so I meant them. DO you want me to say I was frustrated? I was. Do you want me to say I was disappointed he wasn't playing like a starter? Sure. Do you want me to say I take them back? No, I don't. He was efficient most of the time, but he didn't play well enough at the time I started bitching, and he played just well enough afterward.

Which was my contention. That you haven't refuted, FWIW. Even though looking back, I take back he didn't score points, since we scored 3. You could've just said that, and then I was wrong, but you didn't, you went emo.

your measure is nfl.com's, and to them, all three were short. As was one incomplete short, one incomplete pass was long to Carter.

So he was running around, but with nicer words. Since he was 6 yards upfield, there's not much pocket around.

my edit. My contention is he wasn't in the pocket when he starts running.

Mildly funny, at least. Good way of turning your sore spots back on me. I'll give you that. I can let it go, because I know this is a sensitive enough subject for you to create a thread telling people not to say things badly about one QB.

He knows Jeff King is on the team.

    Jeff King > Smitty
