First series of 3rd quarter is HUGE. Colts start with the ball. Stopping them on first series will go a long way to defining the 2nd half. Can't afford to go down 17-7.

Agreed. A 3 and out would rock out a tone setter.

 

For fumbling a punt, turning over the ball in the endzone, it's not that bad. We could say it should be 16-0, but if you add a score every game of the 2001 Panthers we have a shot at the playoffs that year. That really doesn't help.

You have to put that last drive out of your head and get on with it, knowing you left them with one good drive that they required luck to finish out. We have a philosophy that's worked, we have a way of getting them in bad field position and running it down their throat. I like what we're seeing out there. We can be in this game and I wasn't certain it would be anywhere near this close.

If you cant handle things like this, perhaps professional help on how to handle things like this could benefit you. Im not saying this to be rude, either. Im being honest.

 

we have to keep moving it. That one series to finish before the end of the half (before their TD- the inside 1:00 wasn't really much of anything) we just got behind the 8-ball.

We'll have to adjust, because they'll adjust. But we can respond, and I think we will.
