That might not be a bad idea. I have a doctor's appointment for follow up on February 29th. I am currently at 253 pounds. My goal is to lose 20 pounds by my next appointment. That is about one pound per week.

It's not as good for your overall digestive process as eating vegetables and water. V8 takes out most of the fibrous material in vegetables that are important to our digestive process, which helps us absorb more of the nutrition in all foods that we eat. You certainly could do a lot worse, like Coke or most other fruit juices that have tons of extra sugar. In fact, if you're on a diet, V8 is the only other drink I'd recommend besides water.

I'm just saying, it's not like a miracle panacea. You're much better off developing a taste for real vegetables and fruits, especially if you don't like V8. V8 has tons of salt, and it's not really equivalent to a vegetable serving, no matter what the FDA claims.

I just do not care for tomato juice. I bought some of the Fusion stuff that has fruit and veggie juice. It is pretty good. I bought the light kind, it only has like 50 calories per serving.

Depending on what your current diet looks like, that may not be as hard as it sounds.

I am not sure yet what my eating plan is going to be. I do think I will rejoin the gym and start exercising again. Winter is coming on and cycling would be hit or miss.....

I got started today. I did twenty minutes on the eliptical and a light run through the weight machines. I did not want to over do it since I have not worked out in a while. The scale at the gym were within a pound of the doctors so I can use them to monitor my progress.
