I want to see this. I have heard that it is pretty good and I like a good vampire movie. The producers and commercials say it is scary. Is it? I am not sure if I have ever seen a vampire movie that was scary.

I'm not a big fan of the blood and gore fest. I was hoping it would have more of a psychological edge and leave most of the gore off camera. That stuff really isn't scary it is just gross.

Not scary? Not even the part when they were in the truck and stopped to get out and look at what was coming?

So, was it scary or just bloody and gory or a combination?

It was scary to me. There were lots of parts that had me looking through my fingers. I didn't find it excessively gory like some movies where they spend 5 minutes on the monster eating a body part, but there was plenty of blood.
