I tried a V8 and it is nasty beyond all comprehension. I do feel fuller this morning though even though I only ate a small protein bar with it. I drank it cold, maybe it is less nasty if it is room temp?

i am a terrible dieter but i do have a few rules. i cut out as much sugar as i can from my diet. no sugary sodas, splenda in my coffee, sweet tea, and oatmeal. low sodium salt too. also i try to drink at least 60 oz. of water a day. it makes me piss like a race horse but i guess its helping me. they say it helps eliminate the post-workout soreness too, by way of flushing out the lactic acids more efficiently.

Sly do you do anything with the V8 to make it more palatable? I think I am going to pour it out of the can into a cup so I can chug it down faster. It was cold and in a can which prolonged the time it took to get it down.

I like the Spicy V8 better but have not been able to find that in the large can. Tastes like a Bloody Mary.

I like the regular too so it really isn't an issue for me.

I do not like to poor mine into a cup. I don't mind the taste but the appearance is a little unpalatable for me.

Also, the slower you drink it, the more full you will feel.

I LIKE V-8. Always keep a big plastic bottle in the fridge. Chug right out of it a few times a day. Love the stuff.

V8 is delicious but don't mistake it for something extrodinarily healthy for you. It's expensive too. You're better off with real fruits and vegetables, by a mile.

You actually like that stuff? It is like drinking spagetti sauce. I guess if you like tomato juice it might be good.

Seems like it would be good for you. I got the low sodium type.

In my opinion, the low sodium type doesn't taste as good. I do like the V-8 with the sodium.

If you have that option, I highly recommend it.
