BCS Logic

The Cardinals were bad, but at least the Rockies won 90 games. I've seen teams make it with less to the playoffs. That Cardinals year was such a farce. They were so bad. If they had a BCS title game for college basketball based on end of the year standings Duke would have had tons of cracks at the national title and would have played in a title game a lot in the last 10 years or so. They've finished #1 in the polls a lot going into the tournament

 

I think that North Dakota State whould be in a BCS Bowl because the computers say that a cold weather team will always travel heavy to a warm weather bowl.

 

I f I wasn't so fucking tired I would play your game but I won't, mainly because BUCKO said it best in the other thread -

but be that as it may - the reason VI has already kicked your ass is because you have decided your "opinion" on which system is better (playoffs vs. BCS bowl system) is somehow the supreme opinion merely because it is yours. What is most laughable is that you decided to debate VI's tongue in cheek, over the top humorous analogies with your usual heavy handed "you can't win, aren't smart enough to beat me, might as well keep your mouth shut" bullshit. It will be a waste of time and key strokes but some day I'll debate you on this - about why you support an admittedly flawed BCS system over a flawed playoff system, a flawed playoff system that EVERY college and pro sport uses to decide its champion. Of course you'll win because you are so much more super intelligent than every other human being that ever breathed, but what the hell - it will be fun watching you spin...

VI already decided the same, only I actually provided reasoning for my view. He did not. The reason you want to believe that VI "kicked my ass," despite knowing that he is the one who got destroyed, is that you resent me both for being far more intelligent than you could ever hope to be and because I showed how stupid your own opinions are. No one who objectively looked at the arguments would conclude that you weren't crushed.

Except that he didn't, because his reasoning was invalidated while you and the other clowns have been too scared to address my points.

Again, saying that you would debate me but you don't have time right now or you're too tired or the FBI just knocked on your door and need you to use your unparalleled intellect to solve the case of the missing cheeseburger just makes you look ridiculous, and like the coward you are.
