Mike Rowe is one of the most underrated people on TV. I watched about half a dozen episodes yesterday while I was home sick, and I laughed my butt off.

While this show has been on for quite a while, I agree. Try and catch the 'behind the scenes' episodes. Very funny.

Yes - his show is hilarious. My husband made me start watching it and I thought I'd hate it.. But I find myself watching it all the time now! I do have to change it sometimes if the job is too gross for me to watch, though.

Good show but I don't expect it to be on too long. Rowe is going to move on to bigger and better things. He was on Oprah a couple of weeks ago.

he does the Ford commercials right now. He got a great commercial voice

BTW anyone know where he even came from? I first saw him on Dirty Jobs. Did he do anything else before that?

I have always liked Mike Rowe. He has a great sense of humor and his staff loves him so you know he is genuine.

All his shows have been great, but the one that he was rarely featured, "World's Most Deadliest Job" was the most entertaining

There was an article in the paper about him and how he got started. I'll try to find it

Here is a small article about his earlier career:

"Before joining Discovery, Rowe sang professionally with the Baltimore Opera (he is a bass-baritone), sold over $100 million of "simulated" diamonds on QVC, and appeared in several dozen commercials for Tylenol and Epic Pharmacy. He also hosted Worst Case Scenario for TBS, On-Air TV for American Airlines, The Most for The History Channel, No Relation for FX, New York Expeditions for PBS, Channel 999 instructional guide for the now defunct PrimeStar satellite television service, and the CD-ROM music trivia game Radio Active (as "Bobby Arpeggio") for now-defunct software publisher Sanctuary Woods. Rowe also appeared on a season four episode of the Comedy Central television show, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist."

he's the deadliest catch narrator as well. which i think was spawned from that world's deadliest jobs special.

saw one with him doing some plumbing work in some southern rural town and it was funny as shit.
