I heard that ex-UNC center Warren Martin will be taking over the role of Rufus Lynx (team's mascot) for this upcoming season . . Any rumor to that ? ? ?

What's next, Dean Smith as Chairman of the Board? Maybe MJ can lure Woody Durham down here to become voice of the Bobcats. Too bad Charles Kuralt isn't still alive; He could be a greeter at the front door to Bobcats Arena on game night . .

CHAPEL HILL MAFIA . . That would be a cool team photo to come out with on opening night; All UNC alumni who work for the Bobcats wearing their Baby Blue blazers lounging around in one of the club areas of the arena (think SOPRANOSesque style).

How many players, coaches or staff do they have from Duke, NC State & Wake Forrest combined?

 

they got Muggsy... but seriously they havent been in position to sign or draft any good players from those schools. Im sure the staff would love to have Chris Paul, Boozer, Brand, Josh Howard. and NC State hasn't had a decent player in the NBA in a decade.
