    who gives a shit where a part time commentator went to school. he once played for the Bobcats for a minute and his Dad is an asst coach. GTF over it. I guess Charles Shackelford and Chris Washburn were unavailable.

    Actually I heard Capel was chosen from a field of three that included former Carolina players Rick Fox and Eric Montross. :biggrin:

    So what's your point? All except Capel enjoyed decent careers in the NBA and one won three NBA Titles. UNC or not, they seemed to be qualified to be a color analyst.

    Ah....you did indeed. Although if they were in the mix, they would be much more qualified than Capel.

    Capel is more a testament to the Bobcats being cheap than UNC homers, otherwise they would have kept Devlin. Montross is actually pretty solid on the UNC radio.
