You can join a group. A host sets up and invites the others to play. Once they're together they join up and can hang out together.

 

you have lots of people who play for stats, but they completely suck. They memorized the maps and go camp with the sword or rocket and pick off people fighting around. They probably also only play Slayer. Most of my kills have been by melee, as I like fucking people's shit up in their face. 2nd most kills come from sticky grenades.

I like how you can go on bungie.com and see all the breakdown they have, but again, it kind of tailors to the people who play for stats.

The one thing that did shock me is that halo 3 is much quieter than halo 2 was. There's far fewer shit talkers like you described than there was on the xbox for some reason. Half of my games are mostly quiet, with only a few people even talking. I almost miss the 13 year old shit talkers.

 

I finally figured out the grav lift trick on vehicles. That shit was funny. Game needs more improv moments like that. I havent been able to get off a full charge shot from an energy pistol to see if it really fucks up a vehicle. I did hop on that ghost thing and fuck the driver up. That was great.

I agree with you bk - I probably dont play for stats mainly because I suck, but also because just being able to killing spree with the default gun due to some sick ping & memorized map doesnt get it for me. I like assasinations, dual weilding that bigass sword while camo'd, and fire & sticky grenading a small room that I just flash grenaded. I am the type of prick who actually used the pungee sticks and sabotaged vehicles in BFV.

Basicly, the less conventional the kill, the better.

I have all the achievements except the 2 for 1 spartan laser shot, which I'd like to get just to feel like I've completed the game. It's definitely been worth my money, I just wish you could choose your games and maps in multi-player. I'm beyond tired of playing slayer, and it seems like people always veto everything else.
