Here are my facts and statistics... Carr went 10-17 for 119yds 1TD 1boneheaded INT and 1 sack/injury that he caused himself by holding the ball too long and then trying to sprint towards his own endzone at the last second. 85 of those yards came on one drive late in the game, which I give him credit for because it was the only decent drive of the day. Other than that single drive, it was a poor performance by the starting QB no matter how you break it down or try to spin it. If it had been Delhomme that put up those numbers, you wouldn't be blaming the play calling and you know it.

I felt like cutting Carr some slack after he came back in because he was hurt and removed from the field, flow of the game, etc. Apparently he may have been hurt enough to miss time. Give the guy a chance before burying him.

I think it's amusing to see you trying to backpeddle on your comments about my vocabulary, especially because it only highlights that it makes you self-conscious. Let me know if you need me to and I'll use more monosyllabic words when responding to one of your posts.
You insulted the people who were speculating about Jake's injury, namely me, suggesting that we had no idea what we were talking about. And when I pointed out to you that you ended up being wrong, you responded with more insults. You, like so many of us, are an ass. The difference is that you're an ass with no knowledge to share.
Speculating and guessing are not synonymous, so perhaps you might want to crack open that dictionary. Speculation is informed, which is why I ended up being correct.
Dude, not only have you continued to babble all this time, but you responded with a hefty amount of vitriol when I pointed out that you were wrong. It's really too late to pretend that you weren't embarrassed at this point.
How can I be a narcissistic and also consumed with self-loathing? At least try to be consistent with your insults. The truth is that you are an idiot, and thus you annoy me. The content of your posts proves that's not just an idle insult; you truly are a moron.

Again, it is a measure of your own ignorance that you do not realize that 7 yards per attempt is not bad. It's not great, but it's not bad. The problem is that Carr did not get enough attempts to put up better numbers, but he did fine with the ones he had. And as noted, those would look even better if not for long gains that were negated by penalties or drops.
Yes, it was. But go back and look at your posting history. I did, and do you know what I found? You have always been someone who clearly loves Jake Delhomme. That's fine, I guess, but it's telling that you have always bashed anyone who criticized him, and now here we find you again expressing your love for him by bashing Carr unnecessarily.
No, he did not hold onto the ball for an unreasonable length of time on that play. The Saints' blitz was picked up poorly, and while it's fine to say that he had the opportunity to throw it away, it's not like he just stood around in the pocket for eight seconds. Carr avoided the initial rush by sliding to his left, then had only about another second and a half before he was swallowed up due to poor blocking.
Yes, I would, because unlike you I assign credit and blame based on facts, not who's my favorite player. I've defended Jake on games where interceptions or incomplete passes weren't his fault.

I'm not burying him at all...I'm simply pointing out that he hasn't played up to the hype so far. He was supposed to be here to challenge Delhomme. In order to do that, you have to be as competitive as the guy you're supposed to be challenging...so far, that hasn't happened.

To be honest with you, if he would just stop trying to run backwards everytime he gets a little pressure, that alone would make me feel much better. It's not the end of the world to take a 5yd sack and live to play another down. It's certainly better than losing 20yds by running the wrong way. I'm afraid they really screwed him up in Houston, because I've never seen a QB do that quite like Carr does, and it worries me. If he would step up in the pocket, he wouldn't have been hurt in the first place.

Wow Colon! Monosyllabic. You do have a large vocabulary! I’ll manage to get through your posts but thanks for the offer dipshit. (dipshit has two syllables btw)

Listen CHIEF (aka Mr COOL) I insulted no one at THAT time. I made a statement that I didn’t realize we had so many Drs on the board. I can’t control how you interpret what someone says and you get all defensive.

Wrong again CHIEF, maybe you should crack open a dictionary.
    spec•u•late
–verb (used without object), -lat•ed, -lat•ing.
    1. to engage in thought or reflection; meditate (often fol. by on, upon, or a clause).
    2. to indulge in conjectural thought.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Origin: 1590–1600; < L speculātus, ptp. of speculārī to watch over, explore, reconnoiter, deriv. of specula watch tower, n. deriv. of specere to look, regard; see -ate1]
Synonyms 1. think, reflect, cogitate. 2. conjecture, guess, surmise, suppose, theorize.

Now if you want to go with your definition that “Speculation is informed” then you were still fucking guessing. Unless you are a member of the Panthers training staff and had access to Jake and the exact symptoms he was complaining with, you knew his elbow hurt, that’s pretty much it. If you think you were “INFORMED” you were blowing smoke up your own ass. Not a real uncommon theme for you though.

DUDE (MR. COOL) You truly are a fucking idiot. How can I be wrong when I never stated an opinion as to what the injury was to begin with. I really am embarrassed now. You are just too clever for me.

Multiple personality disorder? Of course I’m just speculating. You are so worried about being wrong you attack anyone who offers another opinion.

I would like to say you don’t annoy me but you do, YOU calling ANYONE an idiot is like Rosie O’Donnell calling someone a bull dyke. It just makes no sense.
