yet seven snaps are enough for people to proclaim him the next savior of the franchise. Go figure.

probably woulda helped for him to be here from preseason, yes. He had a very good one. Moore does seem to have more poise than the above guys. Just think how high people had been if he hadn't thrown the near-int...if Simoneau dropped it people could say he's the next Gunslinger type :94poopbanana-thumb1
The funny thing is, Simoneau almost got clipped by the safety who had also gone for the ball.

Who is doing that? All I'm saying is that Testaverde obviously has no future with us, you telling me youre either 1. excited Testaverde will be taking the snaps this weekend or 2. optimistic? I'd rather see a guy that may have a future with us out there playing, at least until Carr gets healthy.

I would rather see Vinny play because I think he gives us a better chance to win than Moore. We are 3-2 and if we can somehow scrap together 6 or 7 more wins we can get in the playoffs, probably win the division. Even if we lose in the first round I will take it given our injuries and other woes.

Looked at the poll here or the one at Charlotte.com? Moore has talent and may be the long term fix, but right now it's about winning games. Who gives us a better shot? A guy with five weeks in the system or a guy who's had years in a similar one? I agree with Meat here. Had Moore been here from mini camp on, I'd feel more comfortable with him in there.

Testaverde is old and not effective anymore. He's someone who can come in relief of Carr if he gets injured, but not someone you want to start games for you.

I'm not saying Testaverde should start the remainder of the season. I'm saying he's the best alternative should Carr miss Sunday that's all. He's more familiar with the offense (maybe not the terminalogy, but the actual plays themselves) than Moore is given he's been in the system for only five weeks. Even when Carr is healthy, I'd increase Moore's snaps with the starters in practice for the remainder of the year to have him up to speed in the event of another injury.

He may not do much but he is less likely to make the big mistakes that a rookie like Moore is bound to make.

For his career, Vinnie has only 9 mores TDs than INTs

I doubt Moore would throw anywhere near as many TDs as he will interceptions. His second pass against New Orleans should have been a pick and probably run back for a touchdown the other way. He is not ready.
