Says the guy who has been humiliated only slightly less often. Stick to a forum where you know something. Do they have one for tossing salad?

As for Rattay, I'm not surprised. It's more convenient for him and we're perpetually slow about making moves anyway. I'm not sure that it actually matters. If Carr does go down for any significant length of time, we're in trouble regardless.

    A vote for Moore

    From ESPN's TMQ:

Jaws Note: With Jake Delhomme and David Carr hurt, undrafted rookie quarterback Matt Moore made a brief appearance for the Panthers. On draft day in April, Ron Jaworski said Moore was the best quarterback prospect after JaMarcus Russell, Brady Quinn and Trent Edwards. All NFL general managers ignored Jaws' advice, yet now there has been a Matt Moore sighting. And speaking of JaMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn, are they in the NFL?

I think I have some Oregon State games on DVD, but I'm not at home. If I remember, I'll look at them this weekend.

The Carolina Panthers options for a replacement for Jake Delhomme decreased by one after the Arizona Cardinals signed free agent Tim Rattay a few moments ago. Still no word on who the Panthers will get to replace Delhomme, but my guess is if it's taking this long they are trying to strike a trade. Just a hunch.

Or they just don't see anyone else as being a better option than Moore.
