yeah I know, what I meant was maybe run a little less and create more passing opps. run an end around, put him in motion more, screen pass, dont just let him line up the same way all the time(which it seems like lately).

I have hope for Carr too, but that completion percentage he had in Houston was worthless because he still had fewer TD's and yards than Jake did last year. I'm looking for points, not pretty stats.

I have a feeling Carr will get better after spending more time with the first unit, assuming his back doesn't give him too much trouble. The Bye week should help him a ton. Smith has had problems catching from Carr because he admittedly has trouble with the way Carr trows to him. Time and practice will fix that, and hopefully eliminate some of those drops. Those drops stop happening the overall offense improves.

You can't always look at yards and TD number with this comparison. You have to also look at things like the offensive system, play calling, and of course who he is throwing the ball to. I don't know YAC numbers for Houstons receivers compared to Carolina, but you have to look at that as well as those yards go in the QB column as well.

It sucks to be pulling for a long haired, white glove wearing pretty boy to save your season......

After seeing carr... he throws a good ball, tight nice spirals with some zip on the ball, however i do see him hold the ball too long and i don't like that to much. With that said and as mentioned before i feel that if he has time w/ the first unit we could see progression. i am not ready to flush this season down the drain yet, but to be real 8-8 could be the best we get if that.

If our defense were to come on and play great we might have a shot but failing that we are screwed. Even if Carr plays somewhat well it is going to be hard with a weak running game. Jake to Smith has been our bread and butter for a while now.
