    Maybe...

    Maybe some of the players will man-up and accept the fact that nobody is coming to save them now, so they'll have to carry more of the load. Our team is good enough (talent-wise) to win with a mediocre quarterback, so if they can just get galvanized around the idea that they don't have a net anymore...maybe they can start playing winning ball on all sides of the ball and pull this thing together.
