    Just finished reading Catcher in the Rye again after 25 years. Funny how times have changed. Still a great book.

    I'm reading that goddamn book now, I've got about 30 lousy pages to go. It's great. I read it when i was much younger and I remember saying to this woman that it wasn't anything special,it was just some kid walking around and telling about it. She said to me, "I guess you need to think about it more when you read it". It was strange, it hadn't occurred to me to really think about it. I guess I had always just read books for information up to that point, I never really analyzed or processed. I don't know, it just stands out to me because a woman told me to think and it's like a lightbulb went on.
