So, Sabathia showed them Yanks something, heh?

Just ask Posada if Sabathia has a good fastball - 3 straight high fastballs with the bases loaded and it was "sit down" time.

Fausto Carmona is on the mound for the Tribe tonight and he's not too shabby either.

The Indians are an exciting team to watch. They are young and play with enthusiasm (without the A-Rod contracts).

It would be nice to see the Indians win and wipe that smirk off Jeter's face (and others too).

With all the Yankees/Bo-Sox talk we quietly had the best record in baseball and didn't have all the drama.

I understand that New York and Boston are big markets and get a lot of press. But, those are NOT the only 2 teams that know how to play baseball.

I'm hoping for a Cleveland Indians vs. Arizona D-Backs World Series.

Anyone that understands baseball would really enjoy watching that match-up.

It's always enjoyable to watch the big name teams get beat. To see them deal with their loss of "entitlement".

Win or lose alway a Tribe fan. Glad to see them there and glad they are playing well. We will see how that goes today.

you could probably count on Bill's right hand the number of times you've posted anything about the Indians prior to this week.

I have not had much to post about up to this point. When I was a kid I would take the 'rapid transit' train downtown and get a $5 bleacher ticket in the old muni-stadium and have the whole section to ourselves. The beer vendor would slip us beer as he shouted out "Alcohol!" Later we would see him smoking a joint at the top of the bleachers. Those were the good ole' days.

What was the drama that the Red Sox had?

And let's be clear - you were TIED for the best record in baseball.

Look, I'm pulling for the Indians this week, but Sabathia sucked last night.
