Tampa may be 1A but they took some pretty big injuries on Sunday. NFC South is wide-ass open

    Lol, fair enough. :)

Overall, sure, there could be a few benchings, but I dont know how much thats going to change. We have to have more PASSION for the game. We have to care about the results more, as Jenkins pointed out, and quite frankly, the execution has been terrible, as has the coaching. There isnt a fucker on this team, player or coach who doesnt need to get better. I'm just saying, it all counts. Execution, passion, playing regardless of whether you like how a coach is using you or not....

And I dont think we suck....at least...well, Im not sure. Eh....let me revisit that after the Saints game, because that is CERTAINLY one that we can win.

Upon review I don't think effort was a big problem with this particular game. It was just poor play on both sides of the ball.

I'm pleased that the team seems to be so upset with themselves. Maybe this fire will spark some focus.

that's gotta be a concern. This team needs confidence without cockiness, and more than that, consistency and focus.

This might be part of the problem:

    PANTHERS NOTEBOOK
    Rip taken in stride
Players say they don't have a problem with Jenkins criticizing team

After Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Kris Jenkins said he noticed a lack of "heart and passion" from his team. He was calling his teammates out, and he stood by his words the next day.

In the locker room Wednesday, most Panthers seemed to have no problem with Jenkins' comments.

"It doesn't bother me at all," said tight end Jeff King. "You just have to concentrate on the next game and how you play. If you worry about what's been said, you're going to get your feelings hurt a lot in this game."

One offensive lineman, asked about Jenkins' words, went through a "everybody has a right to his own opinion" speech. Then, when the media left, he asked a teammate, "What did Kris say, anyway?"

Told that it had been all over the media, he smiled and said, "I guess I've been playing too much PlayStation."

Instead of relaxing at home they should go out to strip clubs. It would be better for the team.

He said it in the locker room too. For 5 minutes. Yes, it just may be. I would rather he be at home than at a strip club, but I'd rather he were paying some kind of attention to the team to both.
