Halo 3

AAAAHhhhhhh Stop it!!!! I can not fucking wait til I get off of work

 

the thing about halo that was so great was the feel of the game. the controls were very well done (for a console, this is really important). the weapons did what you expected. i thought levels were great. the story unfolds with some nice twists. the pacing is pretty good. sure, it might be a bit redundant but let's face it -- it's an fps. you shoot things over and over and over.

i played it through twice with my friend in splitscreen multiplayer (which is also a major plus for halo/halo 2). there were plenty of situations i can still clearly remember -- an early level where you have to defend yourself from wave after wave of guys landing and trying to storm this weird base, the first time a floating sword came storming down a hallway towards us, the flood!

great fucking game for the xbox.

God, I hate that game. There's a big hype, everybody blows money on a pre-order, and you get the same stupid enemies with the same stupid envoirments with the same stupid characters. All they probaly did was tighten up the graphics a little bit, then say its Halo 3. A stupid waste of money on the same game as Halo 2

 

except people will be playing this online for years. How's that a waste of money? People were even playing halo 2 still, as it has been one of the top 10 xbox live played games, even on the 360.

 

how long did you play before deciding this?

 

I got it for the online play, but at times it does seem like I'm just playing the same old Halo with better graphics. Dual wielding two guns is pretty slick, though. My favorite weapon so far is that bigass hammer.
