    ECU played VT strong, and if they were gonna beat UNC this was the year to do it. UNC young and with a new coach, and even then UNC had better offensive success against ECU than VT did.

    they can't stop the run. They aren't that bad against the pass, but the inability to stop the run hurts them enough that they are vulnerable to the pass as well.

    It's gonna take a few years to get the talent level where it needs to be. I think Davis will get the Tarheels in the Top 25 but not with the talent level on campus at this time.

    A good program may lose to South Florida, especially on the road, but they shouldn't get blown out or look so hapless. I have been very, very disappointed with the team's performance. I know that coaches often need a full year to get things going in the right direction, but I expected better play and fewer mistakes.

    The Heels can't run the ball with any degree of consistancy and the reason is of course two fold. The O line is not ready to compete at an elite level and the team does not have a true stud at tailback. They have a number of backs that are talented but none will ever be a feature back. Carolina, and yes to those south of the border they are CAROLINA, also don't have enough talent on Defense. What elite player they have for the most part are Freshman or Sophomores.
