    Damn was nobody else watching the game?

    He started walking to the sideline after the play holding/pointing to his elbow and it looked like the coaching staff told him to sit down so we wouldn't have to burn a timeout. He sat down, we got the offical/injury timeout.

    off the subject for a quick ?, what is the meaning of all the green stamps on the back of all the players helments??

    it designates the only player allowed on the field with radio contact from the coaches. hence the "dot".

    it's just on the QB's helmets and it's used to designate those with a radio in them.

    He did drop to a knee but it looked to me like he knew he was coming out and dropped to give Carr warm up time. He appeared to be able to simply walk off the field if he chose.

    that's they way i saw it too though i never saw Carr warm up. the coaches were pointing to Jake to go down so they could have time to sort things out.
