ESPN's prime time game (cool) is Bama back ??

Most all the lines have Bama by 3 1/2

ESPN is saying everyone now thinks 10 wins is attainable ?? I think 7 + a win @ Auburn + a bowl win is more than satisfactory.

Just looking for some OP's from the football aficionados here, actually I'm just trying to allay my fears of a Bama collapse sometime this season.

I keep hearing that Alabama has a very suspect defense.

True that, but most in the Bama know including Saban have said the offense must carry the defense until it finds itself, hopefully that'll be soon.

    I dread Florida right now.

So you're a Bama guy, huh? Too bad DaveW quit posting, he needed a Bamabuddy. No wonder you're such a conservative. I like the Tide though - good luck tonight. :4:

Georgia should beat them, but with the Bulldogs you never know. Bama's passing game does look much improved, but they really shouldn't have beaten Arkansas last week, and I don't see Arkansas being that great this year anyway. I know the folks in Auburn are scared, though.

Hrm. I never really paid attention since I don't care much about the SEC, but I just read a piece about Alabama's supposed 12 national championships that showed how only 3-5 are actually legitimate.

Granted, it's an Auburn fan's site, so it's horrendously biased, but his points about national championships being awarded before the bowl games were even played is pretty valid. Plus, as he points out, some of those 12 championships claimed are declared by weird organizations and not the AP.
