I'm tired of the Orioles being a laughingstock.

Buchholz goes into full hype mode now, though. He's a better pitcher than Jesus in cleats.

who knew Carlos Pena would be doing this? He'll get 40-plus homers and 120-plus RBIs.

Damn, I set my DVR for three and a half hours last night. The bottom of the ninth just started when it ran out. FUCK!!! OH well, great win to go into the series this weekend.

    Fri. Pettite vs. Dick-K
    Sat. Wang vs. Beckett
    Sun. TBA vs. Schilling

Thought I heard Remy and Orsilo saying something about there's a chance Sunday might be Clemens?

I believe it's Phil Hughes turn in the rotation, and he's is listed as the probable starter on cnnsi. I wouldn't be shocked to see Clemens though.

matsuzaka will be pitching on five days rest. good thing -- he needs the extra day 'cause he's been dragging. No more pitching five or six times a month. welcome to the big leagues

I would love to see Clemens. An 80% Rocket will mean the splitter won't be splitting, and his "fast"ball will top out at 91 if he really heaves it.

I'd also like to see them knock Joba down a peg or two

Kicking ass as a rookie reliever is a lot different in October than August and September. Just ask Calvin Schiraldi.

I know, I'm just sick of hearing Michael Kay, Ken Singleton, Paul O'Neill, et.al. talking him up. Kay was actually on the air a couple weeks ago talking about how the Joba Chamberlain story was "sweeping the nation." This was after about six innings in appearance. The guy has to be an international icon by now.

    God I hate the Yankees.
