    I think Delhomme's signed longer than Carr. I think suggestions that Delhomme would definitely be cut in a year because Carr was out there, I don't think those are correct. This isn't how things will be for 16+ games this year, but realistically Jake has to go ahead and lose the job definitively first and this game did nothing toward that 'goal'.

    Carr just seemed to be another Jake in preseason. Some really nice plays and then one of those boneheaded throws that kills a drive. Carr is better then Weinke for sure, but I agree the job is Jake's and if a change happened at some point, I'm not sure it would be a huge change other then less chemistry with the receivers.
