I'm the same way. I just paid to have the yard done, and I hated writing that check, but not as much as I hate digging for about 200 hours in 100 degree heat.

The brick patio was the last project. Unless I build a halfpipe.

    Selling a house sucks dick.

When I sold mine, I had to do a bunch of bullshit that didn't do anything to improve the structure of the house.

When I sell this house, if I'm even alive when it happens, it will be as-is. Tear it down, whatever. It's as-is and it costs this much. Pay or go away.

    Gotta like that.

    Where is grey penguin?

I've got two GFCI outlets that are wired to old two wire ungrounded wiring that the inspector flagged as not working completely. I explained to the electrician and he said no problem we'll fix it so I agreed to it on the inspection list.

Then he doesn't do anything and says they are working to code. Which is true but that's not what I agreed to on the repair list. So now I've got an ignorant agent who won't say what I should do and an electrician who pretty much refuses to take my money to rewire something becuase it's already to code.

The inspector is going to come back and say it's in the same condition as before and him not understanding electrical code doesn't help either.

My agent is yelling at me while I try to understand the nuances of the situation. She said she would take care of it and not to worry and then dumps it back in my lap like it's my fault.

I'm the only ************ who knows what's going on. Maybe I should be a consultant for high end house sales. No, fuck that.

Tell your agent to fix it or she's fired.

    Seriously. She'll fix it.

You do realize all these people work for you, right?

    Get better at handling people.

I need to. I can't and never will be good at managing people. I end up just doing the things that need to get done rather than delegate it.
