    he was especially fantastic in Brothers Grimm and Stuck on You

    I do agree he's one of the best. Russell Crowe is right up there too, imhmfo.

    guy pierce and christian bale are pretty good.

    as to the op, i have grown to like matt damon. i thought he was just a lightweight "pretty boy" but he's really pretty good and reasonably versatile. he's played a lot of different roles and hits more than misses.

    Actually, he was pretty good in Jersey Girl. The movie sucked Silent Bob's cock, but Affleck was ok.

    The man will always have goodwill from me simply for Chasing Amy.
