    Great game. Tied at 21.

Lots of plays on both sides of the ball. Cal has a 2 yard fumble recovery and one of the best punt returns for a TD I've ever seen. And our run defense has been spotty early.

Eric Ainge is 12 out of 13 with two TDs.

ks, hope you took the over.

Cal has some serious speed. Tennessee plays defense like they're afraid of hurting someone.

We are not tackling well, instead of attacking we are catching.

But part of that is speed. They've got about 4 players with top tier speed at skill positions, and all have hurt us.

Could have used the touch the last time down and we'd be down 3.

Although this was a game that Cal was expected to win, will Fulmer get Tennessee another SEC title, or for that matter another BCS bowl? The heat is on in Knoxville, and Ann Arbor.

Fulmer's not on the hot seat.

Cal has some serious talent. They'll give USC all they can handle.

I think that Fulmer is vulnerable. The team has been knocked down several notches in the last 5 years. They are now behind Fla, Ga, LSU, Auburn, and Bama, in the power structure of the SEC. Some of the big money in Knoxville has been grumbling about him for the last several years. If Tenn has another year or two without significant progress you can count on it, he's gone. The loss to Cal is no disgrace but he can't survive mediocrity and some of the losses of late have not set well on Rocky Top.

If another 05 year happens, he's vunerable.

But we've beaten those teams, you know, recently. We've beaten UGA and bama two of the last three. We've split the last 4 with UFL. We split the last two with LSU.

Had Cal but not the over. I was nervous when it got back to 38-28. Passed on the total in favor of over in the UGA game instead - like a dumbass. I should've known UGA would throttle OSU.

    Holy shit Cal is fast.

yeah. It's not like they got upset by a non ranked team to start the year. They played another top 15, one that owed them one. Fulmer's solid, and the classes he brings in every year alone keep him afloat if he needs, but it looks like a good team this year.

Cal is fast, but could toughen up a little more.
