Furcal's best asset is speed and speed doesn't age well. It will probably depend on whether or not they end up seeing Hu as a potential starter.

2 out of 3 against them this week. Lead is at 2 1/2.

I'm taking it one day at a time, but every day they lead is one day closer to a very interesting October.

Clutch hitting takes 2 out of 3 over the weekend. I'd take my chances with that win percentage from here out.

If the Cubs don't win that division, they should fire Lou. No, really Lou did a great job getting them back in it after that terrible start but please! The Brewers are done, the Cards are a joke, and the division is sitting there for anyone who can win 55% of their games the rest of the way.

What is wrong with Zambrano. I keep hearing that he is dropping his arm angle thus causing his pitches to flatten out. The guy is supposed to be the teams ACE and is being paid as such.

he'll be fine....i wouldn't worry about big z. the other pitchers are pitching pretty well and picking zambrano up. He'll get hot and win some big games down the stretch and in the playoffs.
