Was one of those players in AAA Kemp? I remember seeing the Dodgers on ESPN and wondering where he went. He was crushing the ball.

Tony Abreu, he'll replace "The Stache" Jeff Kent next year

Chin-Lung Hu, he'll solidify 3rd base next year

Andy LaRoche, Braves fans may recongnize that name, he'll be put on a trading block along with Wilson Valdez.

And then Delwyn Young, who's killin' it down in Vegas. We brought him up for a couple games, and in his last game he went 4 - 5, 2 doubles.

Only a couple pitchers down there though. We went "all in" on Schmidt and Wolf and let a couple of our pitching prospects go last year.

Loney came from there, he starts at first. Kemp should start left field now, but Grady is too loyal to Gonzo. Eithier is out in right, but he came from the Milton Bradley trade from Oakland. Last but not least, my favorite Dodger. Russell Martin. He will be a Dodger for a long time. I understand now why we let LaDuca go.

Brewers Lose to the Reds today, giving the cubs a chance to put them a game and a half back, with soriano almost back. Cubs play the cardinals at 8:00 est on ESPN. Big Z is on the mound for the cubbies, lets see if he looks more relaxed after signing the extension.

Your criticism of Grady Little might have a little more validity if it looked like you had a clue what you're talking about. Hu is a shortstop, not a third baseman. While it's possible he could make the transition, he doesn't hit nearly enough for a corner infield spot, as his calling card is his plus defense at shortstop. LaRoche will end up being the starter there. Then Abreu and Young are solid pieces, but neither would be upgrades over current starters. Ditto with Matt Kemp, who got off to a blazing start but has since cooled off. Meanwhile Luis Gonzalez has been a steady veteran presence.

We'll see about Hu and LaRoche. Everything I've read suggest Hu move over to 3rd and LaRoche is our best trade prospect we have and we'll need a big bat and he's been topic of trade talks every time.

Fair enough, but what you read is misinformed. He's a pure shortstop. He might be capable of playing third in a pinch, but he's well suited for short and doesn't have enough power to be a corner infielder.

old management let Beltre go. Fairly certain unless an injury, he'll get resigned. Your thoughts?
