But the Xbox looked better than the PS2, including the ports, which was my point. The question of who gets the best games or who has the largest user base is completely separate. I think it's pretty well accepted that the PS3 will eventually look slightly better than the 360 given the same title, but that day is still a good ways off. For now they both have some stunning games, but the PS3 is giving developers a bit of trouble.

It was originally supposed to be a PS3 only title, so it's not being pushed back because of development issues on that side. And really, you know Sony has to be super pissed that Rockstar decided to make it for the 360 as well because they really need those big exclusives to catch up with Microsoft in this generation. But the 360 has been too successful too quickly for U.S. developers to ignore it the way that some did in the previous generation. Interesting, though, that as I said the Japanese continue refusing to support it because it's a Western console.

 

as far as I know, all of the clips and photos of GTA 4 were from the 360 version. The ps3 version has been the reported reason why both versions got delayed. Whatever the reasons, the ps3 lineup this fall needed GTA 4, the 360 still has plenty of games to fill the void. I'm gonna spend my gta 4 money on the new john woo game.
