this week they're at least the worst in the league right now. Waiting for someone to review game tape and give us some positives. (and not that you're positive we suck)

We were awful last night. It was as if Steve Smith and Jake were reading too different play books at times.

Our defense should have stayed on the sidelines....they might have made more plays.

Oh the joy of pre-season football.:dots:

Don't expect many positives, unless you like 'I'm positive Jake hit carter in stride, but Carter dropped it anyway', and 'I'm positive I liked it better when Delhomme stepped into his throws'

Yeah, I'm not reviewing tape. I DVRed it with that intention, but already erased it. I posted some quick impressions in the game thread, but this one just has to be written off.

The main problem with the Carolina Panthers is lack of pride. Too many of those clowns just think they can phone it in and pick up a pay check... and they do. Oh, there are some who stand out game to game but never the whole team playing at the same level all the time. How you get the Panthers who have as much talent as anyone else to Want to win is and has been except for a couple of years the missing link with this team.

One game (especially preseason) does not a season make - yeah I know but it feels like 0-16 right now. And I guess on the bright side, we always seem to have at least (LEAST!) one "what the hell was that crap?" game and better to get it out of the way when it doesn't count. After some stellar preseasons, we've often started the real season struggling - if we got the stink out - or even get a bit more out the next two weeks, I can live with that if it means solid play during the season. But for now, I think most fans feel shitty.
