LCD TV.... Can I get some opinions please?

    That price seems to be a bit low for a 46" LCD.

    I understand the rest of what you're saying though.... I'm pretty much convinced that the Samsung 4661F is by far the best bang for my buck. I might get one before the end of next week.

    I'd consider 46" and that Samsung panel to be premium options, with 42" and any of the Tawian manufactured panels to be the middle of the road value.

    As far as that Sammy - I'll trade you my 42" Toshiba 1080 lcd plus the price difference. That is a badass lcd panel right there. And I'd but it from Beach Camera if I were you. $1950 for that thing is a fucking great deal. I've seen it setup @ Tweeter and a buddy's house. It's gorgeous with either 1080i broadcast or HDDVDs.

    I know you're an expert on anything, but most people say otherwise. sound quality is poor, but that's what an accompanying system is for. everything else gets very good reviews.

    do some research on visualapex.com, i know 4 people that have purchased through them. they have sharp 1080s on their site for sale too.

    The only LCD above 42"they have is a Mitsubishi 46", going for $4700.

    *edit* And NEC's for $3500.

    They sell plasmas. Buying an LCD from them is like ordering Fettucini at a Mexican joint.
