The loss tonight to the Mucking Fets is a real bitch. Braves up 3-1 in 7th, they lose the lead on a broken bat blooper and then Soriano gives up a long HR to Alou. Top that with having the bases loaded with nobody out in the
9th and getting nothing. If the Braves come up a game short at the end of the year, they will remember this one. Need that nooner tommorow in the worst way.

Braves win 2 out of 3 in New York. Should have been a sweep but the damned bullpen is awful right now. Williel Harris may have saved the season in the 9th with that catch. On to Philly!!!

    Willie Harris for President!!!

Did anyone hear an estimation on the length of Chipper's homer? That puppy had to be easily over 450 and maybe even up to 480. Sorry John.

Split the first two in Philly. They really need a W today so they aren't just treading water in this thing. Nice find in Willie Harris for 2007 too.

The Braves seem to love not getting over the hump this year. Every big win is followed by getting swept by the Reds or just going 500 in a stretch against bad teams.

They can't seem to put together a streak of say, 15 of 20 or even seep a series. The biggest reason of late has been the bullpen. Soriano has totaly lost it and Wickman scares me to death. The bats are smoking but the Braves are like most teams in baseball, they don't have enough pitching.
