was it just me, or did our ST just blow? Horrible coverage on kicks, horrible returns. Looked like a freakin firedrill back there when the Panthers got the ball, and complete mayhem when they tried to tackle the Giants after kicks.

Got stuck with the radio broadcast as NFLN showed a boring skins/titans game.

But from the highlights, the line opened some gaping holes, moving laterally and using the cutbacks. Some good signs for the run game. I liked how Foster finished his big run.

Nice to see Jake hit his back foot and make some nice third down throws. The TD throw was a nice zinger.

Biddle must have an invisibility cloak that only works on the Giant secondary. Both TDs were on bad coverage busts.

Carr had a nice line, didn't like seeing the sacks.

And yeah, we gave up 146 kickoff return yards. That's got to be cleaned up.

Yes. Granted a hole got missed a time or two, and there were two inside runs without a gaping hole early, but there were some big holes. NYG doesn't have that good a front, but it's still fun to see us get 110 yards with our first and third backs in a half.

I don't want to jinx it, but damned if those two problems didn't find an easy fix. Jake got a little safe there for a bit, though.

he can run a little, but if there's pressure, it bothers him. I don't know if it's focus or what, but it bothers him. He doesn't seem to be quick in his drops, either.

I'm guessing those are tennis or golf gloves, which are much thinner and are usually white. Baseball batting gloves are heavier, and are all different colors, but usually not white. Football gloves are thickest of all, and come in different thicknesses for different positions. They're usually black, I think. I'm guessing he wants something to improve his grip, but that lets him feel the ball better.

That running game looked eerily like Atlanta's run game. The only time I noticed one of our offensive linemen going low was on 2nd and goal, I think in the 3rd quarter. It looked in a replay like our right guard slid to the left and caught a tackle in the legs, but he did hit him from the front/straight-on, not the side of the leg. That's the only time I saw it, though I wasn't looking closely for it throughout the game. Did anyone see any other cut-blocking type of stuff?

I like the look of the offense overall, though I'm concerned about cut-blocking.
